StradVision Welcomes New Directors across Solutions Engineering and Sales Teams
StradVision is excited to welcome Bapu Kiranagi (Solutions Engineering Director) and Dean Beckman (Account Director) as new directors across the company’s respective solutions/process and sales/accounts teams. Kiranagi will help implement technology solutions that will streamline business processes and project planning between StradVision and its customers and stakeholders. Beckman will lead StradVision’s talented sales and account team that manages relationships and project management with various OEM and Tier-1 partners that are implementing the company’s SVNet software.

Bapu Kiranagi joins StradVision with over 21+ years of experience in image processing, pattern recognition, computer vision, AI/ML, driver safety systems, automotive ADAS and interior sensing applications, autonomous vehicles, exterior near field applications, and much more. He is also a proven technology leader that has contributed 2 patents and 35 research publications for respected journals/conferences within many of these fields. His academic background includes a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Master of Science Technology by Research in Computer Science from the University of Mysore (Mysore, India), as well as a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical & Electronics from Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE) in Mysore.
Dean Beckman brings over 30+ years of automotive experience to StradVision from across a wide range of disciplines, including sales (including ADAS sales), project management, engineering, purchasing, and a continual focus on customer satisfaction. His education background includes a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from GMI Engineering & Management Institute (now Kettering University) and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
Both new director appointments continue StradVision’s year of major workforce expansion (69.2% increase YoY) domestically in North America and globally, along with new strategic investors and partnerships and expanding international business overall. The company also recently completed its Series C funding of $88 million ($129 cumulative funding to date) while successfully completing proof-of-concept (PoC) and production projects that are working toward more mass production alongside global OEMs and Tier-1s. Furthermore, StradVision’s SVNet software has been selected for the second consecutive year as the ‘Best-in-Class Software for Perception Systems’ by the 2022 AutoSens Awards.
